MP Rimon allocated Tk 2 crore 2 lakh 51 thousand 805 for the implementation of numerous projects including roads, mosques, tube wells and public toilets in Patharghata-Bamna-Betagai upazila.
In these invisible projects, no work has been done in most places. I see that the work of this project has been completed in June 2020-21.
The investigation showed that the MP has allocated Tk 55,000 for the installation of 58-year-old Lina Begum, a resident of No. 3rd O'ard of Betagi Municipality, but no tubewell has been installed in his house.
Victim Lina Begum said, I once heard that I had been allotted a tubewell.
But till now I have not got any tubewell in my house.I still bring water from people's houses and cook with food.
