Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a meeting with the owners of the tea industry.
The meeting was said to be held at Ganobhaban, the Prime Minister's residence on Saturday (August 27) at 4 pm.

It should be noted that the tea workers started a strike from August 9 to demand a daily wage of Tk 300. Later, from August 13, they started an indefinite strike across the country.
Later, in discussions with the administration, the central committee of the Tea Workers Union called off the strike on August 23, but the general workers did not comply with it.
