The new four members of the party's national standing committee paid a courtesy call on BNP's chairman and Prime Minister Tarek Rahman. The meeting was held at the Prime Minister's Office on Tuesday (August 18). The new members are Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Aman Ullah Aman, Farhad Halim Donor and Ismail Zabih Ullah.
During the meeting, BNP standing committee member and Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmad was also present while the new members greeted Prime Minister and BNP Chairman Tarek Rahman in response and in response, the Prime Minister congratulated them and called for them to work with devotion for the welfare of the country and the people.
In the meeting, the overall development of the country, the current political situation and the issue of strengthening the democratic institutions, Prime Minister Tariq Rahman said that the trust that the people of the country has put in the BNP should be protected at any cost. He urged the standing committee to play a leading role in meeting the people's expectations in order to meet the expectations of the people.
The Prime Minister also emphasized on effective coordination between the government and the party in building a better and prosperous Bangladesh. He highlighted the need for the experience and wisdom of the party's top leaders to use the state management.
Meanwhile, the members of the newly appointed standing committee expressed their full confidence in the Prime Minister in the future action plan of the party and the government, and they said they want to play a role in building a democratic and prosperous Bangladesh with the ideals of martyred President Gitaur Rahman and the spirit of political struggle of former Prime Minister Khaleda Gita.
