In the middle of every upazila Koran Khatam, Milad Mahfil, Kangali Bhoj discussion meeting of Notakhali, the National Mourning Day was celebrated on August 15.
Notakhali Municipal Metro and District Aomi League Alhaj Sahid Ullah Khan Sohail celebrated the Mourning Day in the municipal premises between Koran Khatam Kangali Bhoj and Milad Mahfil.
The Mourning Day was celebrated at Sultan Mahmud Degree College in Senbagh, a discussion meeting and prize distribution, and the program was presided over by the college principal. Sahidul Alam (Jasim) directed the Mourning Day Committee Assistant Professor Dilip Kumar, Bhowmik, Bijbag N. Bijbagh was held at Bijbagh Navkrishna High School at 10 am in K High School.
The mourning meeting was addressed by eminent educationist and social worker Deen Mohammad, school headmaster Mohammad Hanif, senior teacher Shahadat Hossain spoke at Malek Ukil Medical College in Begumganj.
MP of Notakhali 3 (Begamganj) Constituency, prominent industrialist Md. spoke as the chief guest. Mamunur Rashid Kiran presided over the college principal Dr. Abduch Chalam Sonaimi Senbagh (partial) MP eminent industrialist Morshed Alam, along with 9 unions and 1 municipality in his area, 10 cows were organized by the mourning meeting.
Sonaimi Ambarnagar Unitne A. League leader Akhtar Hossain Dulu has been widely celebrated in Abarnagar High School in the afternoon and a mourning day meeting was held in the afternoon between the Milad Mahfil.
No. 2 Otarard A. League president Birmukti warrior Abdus Salam, school head teacher ABM Noman, spoke No. 2 Otarard A. League General Secretary Monir Hossain Khokon, Chatkhil Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's personal assistant Alhaj Jahangir Alam Bangabandhu offered wreaths at the altar, with Bijbagh UP chairman Salim Uddin Kajal Milad and Dota Mahfil in Senbagh. Nation observes the day of mourning.
