Today Wednesday (June 3) at noon Manohardi Upazila Parishad Milnattan under the initiative of Upazila Agriculture Office and ‘Program on Agriculture And Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Resilience in Bangladesh (Partner)’ project is under the auspices of the Congress.
Manohardi Upazila Nirbahi Officer MA Mohaimin Al Jihan presided over the event as special guests, Deputy Director of District Agriculture Extension Directorate Md. Azizal Haque, Member Secretary of Manohardi Upazila BNP Md. Aminur Rahman Sarkar Dolan, Investigation Officer of Manohardi Police Station Mahtabur Rahman were present as special guests.
The speakers said that the use of modern technology has increased agricultural production, nutritious food production and adapting to the change in hydration, while the agricultural practices have been developed and the agricultural product marketing system should be improved and fair market prices should be ensured.
Agriculture Extension Officer Mazharul Majumdar conducted the welcome speech, Manohardi Upazila Agriculture Officer agriculturist Runa Akhter gave a welcome speech.
The day-long congress included training, exchange of views and questioning sessions, with hundreds of farmers, NGO representatives, journalists and local dignitaries participating in the Congress.
