BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi commented that Bharkankar is going to the country.
“There is a tragic misery going on in the country. Journalists are not able to express their opinions correctly. We have to live in a monstrous misrule.
In such a situation in the country, Nazrul is giving us his inspiration in his writing every moment.”
On the occasion of the 46th death anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam on Saturday, the leaders and activists of BNP and other organizations paid tribute to his shrine.
Rizvi went to the National Kabir shrine adjacent to the central mosque of Dhaka University around 7 am, which later said in response to reporters' questions.
“The struggle we are in is the right of the people now, the struggle we have been running for the restoration of this right is for the past 14-15 years," Rizvi said.
The main motivation of our struggle is songs, poems and other writings written by Kazi Nazrul Islam, because he wrote in his life. He has been oppressed and imprisoned for his protest against injustice and misrule.”
