Nasreen Sultana, Billing Assistant of Rajshahi Palli Vidyut Samiti (POBIS) was killed in a road accident, her husband Abu Taleb died in a road accident 5 days later, Abu Taleb was injured in a tragic accident with his wife. Since then he was undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. He died at Ramek Hospital around 11 am on Tuesday.
Abu Taleb, the lecturer of history department of Durgapur Women's College and the son of Tacher Khatib of Choubajita village in the upazila, was injured in a serious accident in Binodpur area of Rajshahi city last Friday (April 5) in the evening of the accident. His wife Nasreen Sultana died on the spot.
On the day of the incident, Abu Taleb and his wife Nasreen Sultana of Durgapur Zonal Office of Rajshahi Palli Vidyut Samiti (POBIS) were returning on a motorcycle after seeing a relative under treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Abu Taleb's wife Nasreen Sultana was killed on the spot when a bus of Ekta Travels bound for Chapainawabganj leaving from Dhaka Mohakhali in the city was killed. When Abu Taleb was seriously injured, the locals rescued him and admitted him to Ramek Hospital.
Ramek Hospital authorities and Abu Taleb's relatives confirmed the news of his death.
