However, as part of their scheduled program, on Sunday (November 29) around 11 am, the police started a march towards the Prime Minister's office, but the police stopped them at the postarat near Eidgah Modangate.
Later, the teachers held a short rally program there.
Although there was no march on this day, they were supposed to give a memorandum to the Prime Minister's office in the afternoon.
The president of the teachers association, Kazi Fatazur Rahman, said that during our strike and hunger strike in 2018, the secretary of the concerned department assured us that the secretary of the concerned department had accepted our logical demand. But even today it has not been implemented. Our sit-in program is going on for 15 consecutive days from this month to demand nationalization. Our demand will continue until this position is not met.
"We will start peacefully today as part of the pre-determined program as on the other day. We will be holding a memorandum in the direction of the Prime Minister's office as part of the pre-determination programme, but the police will stop us. We will give a memorandum to the Prime Minister's office after noon.
This position is being held on 7-point demand, including the code number of the board, the inclusion of the Alim passer, the primary school, the school, and the school, the school has to do it.
