The Election Commission (EC) has issued a notification canceling the registration of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. This notification was issued on Sunday.
It was said in the notification that the people of the country were registered as a political party in 1972. In the context of this, the registration number of the party was 14. The number of 630 writ petitions was declared in the court of 2009.
Election Commission Secretariat Secretary Helaluddin Ahmad has signed the notification.
