Even then, a circle is cutting the soil and selling it. If the operation is conducted during the day, the soil is being cut at night.’
In response to a question, the upazila executive officer said that the land owners should also be aware of the crop land, they are selling the land because of greed, which is why it is important to be aware of the destruction of the cropland.
Charbhadrasan upazila executive officer Mohammad Sol bin Karim said, ‘Wherever there is news of cutting the soil, the operation will be conducted there. The areas where the soil is being cut, will be raided there.’
