The police arrested Imam Hossain, a teacher of the institution, on the charge of sexual harassment of two students of Nandanpur Quadriita Dakhil Madrasa of Laxmipur Sadar Upazila.
He was arrested from the madrasa on Saturday (October 28) afternoon.
The victim students and parents complained that the teachers had sex with the teacher imam in a private place in the agricultural poison. At the end of the private, the teacher called the students in a room and had sex with him several times in a room, and he tried to sexually abuse the students by talking about free private private affairs.
The victims of sexual harassment have also filed a written complaint with the Madrasa Superintendent, followed by Madrasa Superintendent Atiqur Rahman issued a two-point show cause notice to the accused teacher Imam.
In this incident, students, parents and locals protested in the madrasa premises in the afternoon demanding the trial of the accused teacher.
Said Abul Kashem, president of the managing committee of the organization, said that there have been several allegations against him that the accused teacher was sexually harassing various female students, the teacher, the teacher, the manning committee, has been handed over to the police by the decision of the managing committee.
Laxmipur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Lokman Hossain said that the accused teacher has been arrested and now action will be taken according to law.
