Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Tanjila Kabir Trapa raided the godown of Char Bhadrasan Upazila Sadar Bazar in Faridpur.
On Saturday (May 07) at around 8:00 p.m., the operation of this mobile court was conducted.
Based on the news that the market is being created in an artificial crisis by keeping the stock in the oil godown, a large amount of oil has been found in the godown of the Rupchanda Satabin oil dealer of Sadar Bazar, Md. Rahmatullah, in the godown of the market.
The court fined Md Rahmatullah 1000 taka and ordered the sale of the stored oil in his godown quickly in the market.
Meanwhile, a large amount of oil has also been found in the godown of the godown of Tir Satabin oil dealer Md. Yusuf Deoan, he was fined 5 thousand rupees and the stocked oil was immediately supplied to the market.
Charbhadrasan Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Tanjila Kabir Tripa said that the mobile court operation will be conducted in the oil godown based on the news that artificial crisis is being created in the market by keeping stockpile in the oil godown.
He also said that the two dealers of the Consumer Rights Act 2009 and Section 1860 (188) have been fined and the stockpiles of the stocked oil will be immediately supplied to the market.
