The Central Chhatra League has abolished the Chittagong South District Chhatra League committee.
On Wednesday (September 27), Central Chhatra League President Saddam Hossain and General Secretary Sheikh O'tali Asif Inan signed a circular that announced the dissolution of the committee, while four sub-committees announced under the South District Chhatra League were also announced to be dissolved by Central Chhatra League.
The defunct sub-committees under South District Chhatra League are Banskhali Upazila Chhatra League, Banshkhali Municipality Chhatra League, Alaol Government College Branch Chhatra League and Satkanita College Branch Chhatra League.
It should be noted that on October 14, 2017, the Central Chhatra League announced a 51-member committee with SM Borhan Uddin as the president and Abu Taher as the general secretary. Later, the full committee was announced on March 4, 2020.
Earlier last Sunday (September 24), the Central Chhatra League announced the dissolution of the Chittagong University Branch Chhatra League committee.
