Mokhlesur Rahman Dhanu, Ramgati-Kamalnagar (Laxmipur) Representative: Due to the organizational innocence, voluntary and stubbornness of Kamalnagar Press Club in Lakshmipur, 11 members including the general secretary of the current (2024-2026) working committee of the press club expressed their distrust simultaneously.
On Sunday evening (November 10) a special general meeting of the press club was held under the chairmanship of Mokhleshur Rahman Dhanu, executive member of the press club. The general meeting until the formation of the next executive committee, the newly former general secretary, our Samut Representative Mushalamullah, was appointed as the member secretary of Ahbatak and daily Bangladesh reporter Amanat Ullah as member secretary.
In this committee, Daily Bangladesh Bulletin representative M Ehsan Rizz has been appointed as joint convener and Mokhleshur Rahman Dhanu, representative of Samater Alo, Dhanu and Jugantar representative Shahrita Kamal respectively.
The special general meeting was attended by the founder of the press club, former president and advisor Mizanur Rahman Manik (daily nude), advisor Belal Hossain Juustel (daily samakal), former president MA Majid (daily ittefaq), Nasir Uddin Mahmud (daily news), Makchudur Rahman (daily dawn dawn) and Abshar Uddin Russell (daily dawned dawn) and the new committee's meeting at the end of the meeting was held.
It is noted that for 2024-26, Daily Manabzamin representative Yusuf Ali Mithu as president and Mousakasakalimullah, the daily our Samat representative as general secretary, were elected as the general secretary of the club, and 11 members of the 17 members, including the general secretary of the club, gave no confidence to the committee, including organizational innocence, arbitrariness, defiance and misconduct allegations.
