Laxmipur Kamalnagar Upazila School level has been inaugurated at the typhoid vaccine.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Rahat Uz Zaman inaugurated it at Char Pagla Patari Pasa Government Primary School in Kamalnagar Upazila Health Department at 11 am on Sunday.
Upazila Health Officer Dr. Sabyasachi Nath was also present under the chairmanship of Women Affairs Officer Md Morshed Alam, Char Kalkini High School Headmaster Mahmudur Rahman Belat, Char Pagla Government Primary School Headmaster Suraita Akhtar and Journalist Mohammad Chaif Ullah Helal, etc. The program was conducted by Medical Officer Dr. Mohammad Sohail Rana.
It should be noted that the upazila health officer said that our vaccination program will continue from October 12 to November 13. In the first phase, 5,3500 children will be vaccinated for 8 days in the second phase of 8 days in madrasa and kindergarten stage.
- He also said that our target will be vaccinated 81460 children of certain buckets, later we will vaccinate street children, so that the children of Kamalnagar will be free from typhoid.
