A reception and discussion meeting was held for the brave freedom fighters and martyred family members on the Great Vijt Day at Kamalnagar in Lakshmipur.
On Monday (December 16) at noon, this event was done at the initiative of the upazila administration in the upazila premises.
Upazila Executive Officer. Under the chairmanship of Imtiaz Hossain, the chief guest is Upazila Cheterman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi, Special Guest Upazila Aomi League President AKM Nurul Amin Master, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamalnagar Police Station. Nurul Abshar, former freedom fighter commander Abu Taher, Shafiq Uddin, Hazirhat Hamidi Fazil Degree Madrasa Principal Jatid Hossain Faruqi, Vice Chairman Omar Farooq Sagar, Female Vice Chairman Roksana Akhtar Ruxi, Freedom Fighter Nurul Islam and Dr. Aqeel Al Islam and others.
Lecturer Main Uddin Riztaz conducted the program, Hazirhat Coastal Government College.
At the end of the ceremony, the members of the brave freedom fighters and martyrs' families were felicitated and given prizes.
Also, smart cards have been distributed among the freedom fighters.
