A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu's Julio Curie Peace Medal in Kamalnagar.
This discussion meeting was held in the upazila parishad hall in Rebba (May 28).
Kamalnagar upazila administration of Laxmipur district, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Julio Curie Peace Medal on the occasion of 50 years of receiving various education Music programs, poetry covers and quiz competitions were held with the participation of the students of the institution.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi was the chief guest on the occasion. Upazila District Officer Suchitra Ranjan Das presided over the event and the program was conducted by Upazila Acting Primary Education Officer Zahirul Islam.

Chief Guest Upazila Parishad Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi said, "Our new generation of students should be advancing by nurturing the life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The Sheikh Hasina government is working tirelessly to build a talented nation and prosperous country. He said that the students will play a role in building a beautiful country in the future by achieving real education.
Later, prizes were distributed among the students of the competition.
