Upazila Assistant Land Officer and Executive Magistrate Pudam Pushp Chakma seized five lakh meter current net and fined 10 thousand taka in the combing operation of the Department of Fisheries in Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur.
On January 31, 1000 January, 5 lakh meters of current net was seized from Khater Hat Iti Store in Pataritir Hat and Khater Hat Bazar of the upazila and shop owner Saijul Islam was fined 10,000 taka in cash.
In the presence of the recovered nets, the pond of the upazila complex will be flooded.
The MS was present, Deputy Director of Fisheries Department Deputy Director Md. Abdur Sattar, District Fisheries Officer Aminul Islam, Upazila Sinister Fisheries Officer Abdul Quddus, Kamalnagar Upazila Coast Guard Contingent Commander Mohammad Humata Kabir, Shaheen Mahmud.
