The police recovered the hanging body of a housewife from Badamtali area of Kamalnagar Charkadira Uni, Laxmipur. The police recovered the body from Gitasuddin Mal's bair near Badamtali area of the upazila on Wednesday (May 4).
The deceased housewife Chalma Akhter (23) is the wife of Bahar Uddin of Badamtali area, and has a 3-year-old child named Ahad.
Kamalnagar police station officer-in-charge Md Solaiman said the body of the housewife was found hanging from the scene and the cause of death will be known after the mortem.
