Kamalnagar Representative:
A protest meeting was held in front of Kamalnagar Upazila Health Complex against the representatives of the pharmaceutical company and protesting the unreasonable harassment.
A total of 150 representatives of various pharmaceutical companies were present at the protest meeting held at 11 am on Wednesday.
The meeting was presided over by Ahbatak Md. Omar Farooq and Md Zakari was present as the co-convener.
Former President Md. Belal, former Secretary Md. Rubel, Kibbita, Aera Manager of Everest Pharmaceuticals, Jultan Abedin and Md Justel spoke in the meeting. The speakers demanded an end to slanderous comments and unreasonable rants against the representatives of the pharmaceutical company.
The speakers said that the representatives of the pharmaceutical companies are working as an important part of healthcare, so they urged the concerned authorities to ensure respectful behavior towards them and should give the status of the profession in the state.
At the end of the protest meeting, the representatives present a memorandum to the Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer and the concerned authorities.
