Own Correspondent: The illegal construction of a boundary wall in Torabganj of Kamalnagar, Lakshmipur, has been broken by the UNO operation.
On Thursday (February 20) afternoon, Kamalnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mohammad Mubarak Hossain broke the boundary wall at the village police station.
Kamalnagar Upazila Chairman Mejbah Uddin Ahmed Bappi, Torabganj Uniton Chairman Solman Solman Ahmed Ratan were present.
Chairman of Torabganj Union, Sol Ahmed Ratan, said that recently, the local resident Md. Safiq, who was in the news, took over Shamchul Alam Road in Torabganj Union No. 7, and built a border wall illegally on Wednesday (February 19) night.
When the locals complained to the upazila executive officer about this, he broke the boundary wall at the village police station.
