BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Gita has given a speech on the extended meeting of the BNP, which was held at 12:26 PM on Thursday.
Khaleda Jita paid tribute to those who were martyred in the fall of the fascist government at the beginning of the speech of the chief guest at the meeting.
Khaleda Jita said to the activists, "You should work unitedly in front of the next election. Don't do anything that will fail your struggle for so long. We have to forget the small narrowness and work for the greater interest of the country and the nation. Even if you stay in the UK for treatment, you are always with the countrymen and activists."
The former prime minister also urged everyone to work to build a beautiful and well-developed country in a united and beautiful country.
Khaleda Jita said, “The country is crossing a critical strait today.
The people expect the interim government to complete the minimum reforms of the state repair and return to the democratic system and organize elections that are acceptable to all.”
Earlier, acting chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman was presiding over the addition of virtually from London to the meeting which started at 11 am.
