On the occasion of Pahela Falgun, the Bengali Department was celebrated on the occasion of the Bengali Department. On Tuesday (February 14) at 10 am, the festival will be organized at the Bangla stage of the university. At the same time, the seven-day Amar Ekushe Book Fair has been organized on the occasion of the Bengali stage.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. inaugurated the book fair by cutting the ribbon at around 10 am. Sheikh Abdus Salam.Anti-University of Melas, political and voluntary organizations, there are half a hundred stalls, followed by a spring festival at 11 am on the Bengali stage.
On the occasion of the spring festival, a joyous procession came out at the initiative of the Bengali department of the university. The procession came out from the Rabindra-Nazrul Kala Bhavan in the university and after the various rounds of the campus, the university's Bengali stage met at the university's Bengali stage and held a discussion meeting.
In the spring festival, the president of Bengali department, Professor Dr. Gazi Mahbub Murshid, was the chief guest. Sheikh Abdus Salam was the special guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman and treasurer Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhui, also the Registrar of the University H. M. Ali Hasan, Proctor Professor Dr. Shahadat Hossain Azad, President of Teachers Association Professor Dr. Jahangir Hasen and teachers and students of various departments of the university were present.
The program was conducted by the professor of the department. Baki Billah Bikul and Rozi Ahmed.
After the inauguration of the book fair, the Vice-Chancellor visited the fair. Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Professor Dr. Alamgir Hossain Bhui, acting registrar HM Ali Hasan, Proctor Professor Dr. Shahadat Hossain Azad, President of Teachers Association Professor Dr. Jahangir Hossain, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall Principal Professor Dr. Mahbubul Arfin.
Also, the head of the estate office, Shamchul Islam Joha, along with teachers and officials of various departments of the university were present.
Speaking as the chief guest at the spring festival, the vice-chancellor said, ‘Spring is the desire of the world. We are Bengalis in the nation. Is there any country in the world?’ where in our country I don't know that there are different characteristics of the six seasons in 12 months, but due to the change in the waters for the past few years, the season has been a little more or less. He said, those who have contributed, including the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who have contributed, are being martyred, are being crippled, I am remembering the book fair held today on our day of joy.’
