Md. Fatz Mahmud: In the name of banned lump and Bagda Chingi Pona conservation campaign of Laxmipur Kamalnagar, the district fisheries officer has been accused of vandalizing the house and taking away the goods.
On Tuesday (May 12) morning, District Fisheries Officer Mohammad Billal Hossain and Naval Police and Coast Guard raided the operation and took away the goods.
Local fishermen Jamal, Sharit Ulyah, Abdur Rashid and other fishermen said that every year the district and upazila fisheries officer should be paid a contract based on the amount of money to catch the roe and bagda chin.
Fishermen are demanding justice for it.
Laxmipur District Fisheries Officer Md. Billal Hossain said, the poison of money, money and vandalism from the jailer is not true.
