Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Professor Dr. expressed hope that the verdict of July murder in three to four cases will be found by October. Asif Nazrul.
He expressed this hope in a press conference at the secretariat on Tuesday (February 11).
The legal adviser said that more than 300 cases have been filed in the International Criminal Court so far, out of which 16 cases are being investigated, of which 3-4 investigations will be completed this month, and the further judicial work of these 3-4 cases may take until next October.
He also said that during the Awami League tenure, the average time in the ICT court took more than two and a half years, but the way our prosecution team is working, we are expected to get a verdict in one year.
These cases have been made accused by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her cabinet members, members of various law enforcement agencies and members of the Awami League leaders and workers.
