Barguna 57 fishermen rescued from Indian waters
Mainul Abedin Khan, Barguna District Correspondent: A fishing trawler named ‘FB Ma-Baba’ was sunk by a storm while fishing in the deep sea. After 12 hours on Saturday (August 20) afternoon, the 17 fishermen were rescued from the Indian part of the Bay of Bengal. Later, they were admitted to a hospital in their country Earlier on Friday (August 19) in the deep sea storm, the ‘FB Ma-Baba's prayer’ owned by Md. Farooq Hossain of Nachnapara Union of Patharghata Upazila. On the other hand, 40 people including the fishermen of a fishing trawler called ‘Shubh Sakal’ were rescued in India. Both trawlers go beyond the adverse weather conditions of the country.
