Supreme Judicial Council returns to the power of the removal of judges
Finally, the Supreme Court Judicial Council regained the power to remove the judges. On Sunday (October 20), the Chief Justice maintained the repeal of the much-discussed 1960 amendment of the Constitution. The 6-judge appellate bench led by Said Refat Ahmed gave the order to the lawyers to remove the power of judges and disposed of the 16th Amendment of the Constitution with the observation of the review petition filed against the R.A.
