The mobile court has fined two grocery stores Tk 1 lakh five thousand for selling peas at a higher price in Ramgati of Lakshmipur.
On Friday (March 20) at noon, Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Md. Abdul Momin fined a shop of Alexander Bazar one lakh taka and another grocery shop in Sufirhat market was fined five thousand taka.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdul Momin said that selling pajaz at a higher price has been fined two grocery stores under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, which will continue to be fined at Tk 1 lakh five thousand.
