The Bangladesh Madrasa General Teachers Association has demanded the amendment of the recent regulations of the Islamic Arabic University. Besides, the governmentization of the madrasa, the provision of 5:2 ratio in the case of the promotion of the basic salary and the promotion of lecturers, has been canceled for the 8 years of the service of assistant professor and later promoted to the post of associate professor and professor.
On Saturday (August 2), the general meeting of the standing committee of the Bangladesh Madrasa General Teachers Association, the president of the organization, Md. Harun Or Rashid, presided over the meeting held at the Association of Social Work.
Secretary General Zahir Uddin Howladar, moderated by the organization, Vice President Sultan Mahmud, Fazlul Bari Belal, Senior Joint Secretary General Md. Shanto Islam, Senior Organizing Secretary Md. Delotar Hossain, Finance Secretary Md Khorshed Kabir Masud and Office Secretary Mehedi Hasan Sarkar were also present.
The speakers requested the leaders of the organization to conduct awareness activities to prevent dengue.
