Amjad Hossain Amu, Kamalnagar (Laxmipur): 7 candidates filed nomination papers for the post of Chairman in Char Lawrence Unit Council by-election in Kamalnagar, Laxmipur.
On Sunday (June 30) at noon, Upazila Returning Officer Md. Aktaruzzaman said that 7 candidates submitted nomination papers from morning to afternoon.
Among them, the first joint Ahbatak of the Dalit Pratik Boat Markat Upazila Jubo League Md. Ahsan Ullah Hiran submitted the form and all the others submitted nomination papers as independent candidates.
