A week-long tree fair has started in Lakshmipur with the slogan ’Live green, save green, decorate the city-life-nature'.
On Saturday (July 21) morning, the forest department, Department of Agriculture Extension and District Administration jointly organized the tree fair at the premises of Laxmipur Collectorate building, and the fair was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Pal.
On this occasion, a colorful rally went around the city, followed by a discussion meeting and distribution of checks among the beneficiaries at the office of the District Commissioner's office.

The fair will be held from 9 am to 9 pm every day.
