A bridge under construction under the Ministry of Relief and Duryag exploded before the completion of the construction work in Ramganj of Lakshmipur. The public has complained that such an incident has been caused by the poor work of the contracting company named Lakshmipur, neglected by the Upazila Project Implementation Department, and there has been a local outrage.

Esmt Shahabuddin, Fazlu Mita, Shahta Ali, including the local teachers, complained that the importance of the bridge under construction is immense. When the construction work is completed, the bridge will carry millions of people and heavy vehicles every day. But the contractor has not done the construction work properly. They said that they were not even supervising any official of the Ram Ganj's office.
In this regard, the responsible officer of Ramganj, Deputy Assistant Engineer of the Project Practical Department, Mahabubur Rahman Talukder, working assistant Md. Sajib, said that they did not know anything about the bridge.
On the other hand, Ramganj Upazila Project Realist Officer Paritosh Kumar Biswas called the mobile phone repeatedly to get comments but it was not possible not to receive it.
