Rakhtpur Upazila of Laxmipur has launched a two-month freelancing (Digital Marketing) training program to create employment opportunities for the unemployed youth and create skilled human resources.
On Wednesday (June 10) morning, Ratpur Government College inaugurated the training program under the revenue development fund of the financial year 2025-26. Mahbub Alam.
The event was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mehedi Hasan Kaushar and was present at the event. Abul Bashar, Md. Various government officials and trainees including Shaheen Mita and Abdus Sattar.
In the opening ceremony, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mehedi Hasan Kaushar said that creating opportunities for youth self-employment by acquiring digital skills is one of the needs of the present society. If the trainees complete the course successfully, they will be able to work as a freelancing or entrepreneur, which will play an important role in reducing unemployment.
According to the upazila administration sources, the participants of this two-month training course conducted completely free of charge will be trained hands-on in digital marketing poison, and another free training course will be launched soon under the initiative of the upazila administration to improve the skills of the unemployed youth.
At the end of the program, the trainees are invited to join themselves in information technology based employment by participating and acquiring skills.
