The police recovered the bodies of a woman and her two daughters from the 300th floor of the Dakbanglo of Barguna Zilla Parishad and their bodies were recovered from two rooms of the third floor of the Zilla Parishad Dak Bungalow at around 4 pm on Wednesday (June 3).
The deceased woman Iti Rani (34), wife of Dulal Chandra Biswas, a resident of Kalibai area of No. 1 andtard town of Barguna town, and her two daughters, Aradha Biswas (12) and Anuradha Biswas (4).
Talking to Esmut Dulal Chandra Biswas, Smriti Rani used to work as a part-time cleaner in Zilla Parishad Dak Bungalow.
According to the police and local sources, in the afternoon, other employees of Dak Bungalow along with the other employees informed the police in two rooms. Barguna police, District Detective (DB) police and senior officials reached the spot and started investigation.
The incident of recovery of the bodies of the mother and two children has created a huge sensation. There are various discussions going on among the locals whether the incident is a murder or some other reason, but the police have not agreed to make any sure comment on any issue until the investigation is over.
On the news of the incident, Zilla Parishad Administrator Md. Nazrul Islam Mollah and Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Mohammad Ibrahim visited the spot and gave instructions to investigate the incident properly and uncover the real mystery.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Barguna Police Station. Abdul Alim said that the process of retrieving the bodies of women and two children and sending them to Barguna General Hospital morgue is going on. Several police teams are working to find out the cause of the incident. Based on the report and investigation progress, the actual cause of death will be confirmed.
The district police member is trying to solve the mystery of the death by collecting evidence and talking to the eyewitnesses at the spot till the latest news.
