Madrasah General Teachers Want Prime Minister's Intervention

The leaders of Bangladesh Madrasa General Teachers Association (BMGTA) have sought the intervention of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to provide Baisakhi allowance and 5 percent growth to the teachers and employees under MPO.

On Saturday (April 7) afternoon, Bangladesh Madrasa General Teachers Association (BMGTA) Dhaka Associated Central Office President Md. An emergency meeting was held under the chairmanship of Harun-or-Rashid.

The leaders expressed regret that the MPO of March along with the MPO of all private educational institutions including the madrasa did not provide Baisakhi allowance.

The Secretary General Md. Zahir Uddin Howladar said that if Baisakhi allowance is not paid before Pahela Baisakh, the program will be announced through a press conference.

The meeting was also addressed by senior vice-president Md. Nazrul Islam, senior vice-president Md. Sultan Mahmud, Senior Vice President Md. Fazlul Bari Belal, Senior Joint Secretary General Md. Shant Islam, Senior Organizing Secretary Md. Deloar Hossain, Finance Secretary Khorshed Kabir Masud, Organizing Secretary Md. Kamruzzaman, Md. Nekbar Hossain and others.
