Pradeep Kumar Rat, Special Representative: In Raipur Upazila of Laxmipur, a fine of Tk 31,000 has been imposed on the mobile court against the collection of additional fares and irregularities of bus and CNG drivers and irregularities. On Saturday, April 5, under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner and under the guidance of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shahed Arman conducted this operation.
In the operation, several Chandpur-going CNG drivers, including Dhaka Express, Econo, Jonaki and Shahi bus services operating on Dhaka, Chittagong and internal routes, have been accused of violating the Road Transport Act against the accused, extorting evidence of negligence in the fare chart, displaying the fare chart and other irregularities.
Upazila administration, BRTA, army and local police participated in this operation, according to upazila administration sources, such operations will continue regularly in the interest of the people.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Imran Khan said, passengers We are requested to inform us immediately if there is any irregularity in the case of the closure of the harassment.
