The Islamic University (EB) has held a PhD seminar on Freedom of Media.
It was held on Thursday (February 19) at 11 am in the Law Department at the University of Mir Musharraf Hossain Academic Building in the Law Department, in the seminar room of the Faculty of Law. Researcher PM Sirajul Islam presented an article in the PhD program titled ‘Introduction to the Right to Freedom of Press in Bangladesh’ under the supervision of Shahjahan Mandal. He is researching the ‘Right to Freedom of Press in Bangladesh’. Halima Khatun presided over the seminar and the speaker was the associate professor of the law department of EB. Md. Abdul Karim and Professor Dr. Rehena Parveen.
The special negotiator was Professor Hasibul Alam Pradhan and Professor Dr. Rajshahi University Law Department. Rafiqul Islam, the president of the Department of Public Administration, Professor Dr. Fakhrul Islam, President of Al Fiqh and Legal Studies Department Professor Dr. Nashir Uddin, President of Law and Land Management Department Mehdi Hasan, Professor of Law Department. Reba Mandal, Dr. Anichur Rahman, Dr. Armin Khatun, Associate Professor of Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies Department. Altaf Hossain, professor of Bengali department.
