The chief advisor commented that the trial of those who are criminals in the police must be confirmed. Muhammad Yunus said they must act with the spirit of the coup of ’24'.
He said this in an exchange meeting with the field administration on Monday (December 30) morning. The meeting was held by the Chief Advisor from his office, including the Commissioners and District Administrators of all departments including Dhaka.
The meeting urged the field administration to play a active role in making the objectives and activities of the interim government successful. Muhammad Yunus said that the administration of the field level is the real government.
The chief adviser said that the interim government is working to ensure the rights of all, so the concerned people should be attentive to complete the various projects on the ground level.
Dr. Yunus pointed out that the police who are involved in various crimes must be brought to justice and their trial will be ensured and the police must act with the spirit of mass uprising.
