On Wednesday (May 29) around 12 noon, hundreds of local residents participated in the human chain at Khakdon river in Ghakdon village of Gourichanna Unidon in Barguna. Our coastal embankments are constantly being broken, our embankments are the protection of the life and property of the region.
But these embankments are never rigidly renovated. We are in constant danger, we do not want any relief, we want sustainable embankments, and if sustained embankments are established, we will at least be assured of safe living no matter how many storms and floods are established.
