An 8-year-old child named Nispa died in the village of Ramganj upazila of Laxmipur due to the violence of the cyclone Rimal.
At the same time, the child's grandmother Hosnetara Begum (63) was seriously injured and under treatment at Ramganj Upazila Health Complex.
On Monday (May 27) at 3 pm in Chandipur Unit of Upazila, the residence of Lutfar Rahman, a cow dealer, was broken by the cyclone-rimal in the house of the cow trader, next to Devur Bai of Dakshin Changirgaon village.
Neighbors rescued the swamps and Nispu buried under the house and went to Ramganj Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared Nispu dead. It has been reported that several trees have been destroyed in different areas of the upazila.
Ramganj Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) deleted. Sharmin Islam confirmed the truth of the incident and said that people had been sent to the spot and a report has been sent to the office of the District Commissioner.
