189 cyclone shelters are being prepared in Lakshmipur to deal with the cyclone. 64 medical teams are also being formed in the Durygkal Relief Fund.
On Saturday (May 25) around 11 pm, Lakshmipur District Commissioner Suraita Jahan Duryig management committee's preparation meeting was given by the chief executive of the district council Rezai Rafin Sarkar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Meher Nigar and other officials of the government were present.
The Deputy Commissioner said, "We have already held a meeting of Ramgati-Kamalnagar Upazila, Duryag Management Committee, and we have to work together in this fort. We have enough relief to get enough relief. From tomorrow, the work of residents of vulnerable areas including Charanchal will be started to be safely placed in the shelter center."
