Bamana Otarard Aoard Awami League President Md. Alam Howladar has given a written statement to the Upazila Election Officer on the charge of threatening against the current upazila chairman and chairman candidate Saitul Islam Litu Mridha.
According to the complaint, the 21st (Tuesday) 11 am, the candidate of Ghosa Pratik Saitul Islam Litu came to Makkah market in Dautatla village of Bamana upazila.
He expressed his disapproval and said that he is working for Pineapple Pratik candidate Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, which in this, Saitul Islam Litu abused him in an unspeakable language and threatened to see that in the written complaint, Md. Alam Howladar mentioned that he is also working for Pineapple Pratik workers and supporters and his candidate's election may have a negative impact on his candidate's election.
In this case, Tushar Mandal, officer in charge of Bamana police station, said, "I have heard the poison but they have not filed any complaint written by the police station, if the complaint is received, the poison will be investigated," he said.
In this regard, Additional Regional Election Officer and Returning Officer Dilip Kumar Howladar said, "I have received a written complaint against the candidate Saitul Islam Litu Mridha, the candidate of Ghosa Pratik in the Bamana Upazila Parishad elections. I have ordered the law enforcement agencies to investigate. He has been warned against him. He has been warned that he is not careful but if he is not careful, we will write to the Election Commission.
