A discussion meeting on the historic Mujibnagar Day and the Independence of Bangladesh was held in Rakhtpur of Laxmipur in the upazila administration.
This discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Imran Khan at 11 am on Wednesday.
Ratpur Municipal Metro Gitas Uddin Rubel Bhat, Raatpur Press Club former president Shankar Majumdar, Upazila Engineer Sumon Munsi, brave freedom fighter Shafi Ulya, Dr. Manjurul Alam, political figures, administrative officials and dignitaries were present.
The speakers highlighted the importance and significance of the historic Mujibnagar Day and said that Mujibnagar is a unique bright example of the glorious independence of Bangladesh. On the other hand, on the occasion of the historic Mujibnagar Day, the upazila AUMILIG and its organization held a discussion meeting at 4 pm.
