In Rajibpur of Kurigram district, the final game and prize distribution ceremony of ‘Model Press Club Football Tournament - 2023’ has been completed under the initiative of ‘Rajibpur Model Press Club’ to protect the youth from drugs and terrorism.
The final game was held at Rajibpur Sheikh Russell Mini Stadium ground at 4 pm on Wednesday (March 06).
In the said game, Rajibpur Model Press Club President Shariful Islam Sona presided over and Rajibpur Model Press Club General Secretary General Secretary Shafiul Alam, former upazila chairman Shafiul Alam, also present, brave freedom fighter Professor Abdus Sabur Faruqi, Rajibpur police station officer-in-charge (OC) Ashiqur Rahman, Rajibpur Government Model Pilot High School Principal Alhaj Azim Uddin Master and others were present as chief guests.
The game was enjoyed by thousands of spectators from the upazila and surrounding areas to watch the game. In the 90-minute game, Kodalkati Football XI won the title of champion and won the title of champion by defeating Kaunia's Char Football XI in Tribeca.
The speakers of the game said that there was no conflict in the game from the beginning to the end, there was no deterioration of law and order. I welcome the event.
