Rajshahi Reporter: Police have arrested 5 members of Kishore gang in Rajshahi and were arrested on Sunday afternoon from Banalata residential area of the metropolis.
In the evening, the media wing of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) informed this information in a press release. The arrested are Jahangir (23) of Paba Nahunpara of the metropolis, Alam (19) of the same area, Rakib (19) of neighboring Naodapara area, Sajjad (26) and Shaon (24) of the same area.
The press release said that a member of the teenage gang called Hriday came to the chicken shop at Shahmakhdum Thana intersection last Friday to buy chickens. Shop owner Noor Zaman had an argument in the heart and left without taking the chicken.
After that, Hridiya and his associates came to the shop with sticks and beat up Noor Zaman, took 20,000 rupees from his shop and threatened to kill him, and Noor Zaman's sister-in-law Asaduzzaman filed a complaint at Shahmakhdum police station.
In view of the complaint, a team of Shahmakhdum police station conducted an operation and arrested the accused from Banalata residential area. The operation to arrest other absconding accused continues. It is mentioned in the press release.
