Patients coming to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital are being held hostage by brokers and brokers in various private hospitals try to get patients from Sadar Hospital.
Due to such a rise of brokers, members of the National Organization (NSI) Lakshmipur Office arrested 9 people from the hospital premises on Wednesday (February 7).
Later, they were handed over to the mobile court. Among them, 5 of them were found guilty, the mobile court judge sentenced each of them to 10 days in prison. They were sent to jail. The convicts were Omar Farooq, Aminul, Rahman Al Azad and Akram Hossain.
The mobile court was conducted by the Executive Magistrate of the Deputy Commissioner's Office Kathoyipru Marma.
He said 9 people have been arrested. Among them, 5 are guilty and they have confessed their guilt and each of them have been sentenced to 10 days in prison.
He also said that the marginalized people came to Sadar Hospital for medical treatment and had to suffer various harassments in their hands, which is a legal crime.
