World Soil Day-2023 was celebrated in Khulna University with the theme of soil and water life as a source of life.
Every year on December 5 is the World Soil Day, this year is celebrated on Tuesday, the year of the University's World Soil, and the Entrepreneurship is organized by the Discipline.
On the occasion of the day, a colorful rally was held in the morning and then a seminar titled ‘Soil and Water: Source of Life’ was organized in the conference room of the amazing Prafulla Chandra Rata Central Research.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University was present as the chief guest in the event. Mosammat Hosne Ara said, "Lighting the world is our main purpose to live beautifully, with the basic needs that are to be met, with soil and water, which is an important element of the environment that is leading us from birth to death. If the soil and water are good, we will be fine. So we have to protect the soil from pollution. For this reason, we have to do a comprehensive research to prevent soil pollution from the university paratha.
In the seminar, the formal session was held first, where the welcome speech was given by the associate professor of the Stull, Otter and Environment Discipline. Sadiqul Amin.

The technical session held after the formal session. Here the students participate in the power party presentation and poster presentation competition. Nishat Jahan Nadira took the first place in the power station presentation, Asha Akhtar took the second place and Suman Sardar Deepta took the position of the poster presentation.
The latest prizes were distributed in the event, including the first 3 of the highest number with the first 3 of the highest number, the first 3 people with the highest number of the highest number of the quiz competitions in the Bijti Chao program of the posterport and poster presentation.
