Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested 28 people for the crime of selling and consuming anti-narcotics operation in the capital.
They were arrested in various police station areas of the capital from Chhatata Chalita on Sunday (October 1) morning on Saturday (September 30).
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of DMP's Midi and Public Relations Department KN Nity Nitti said that 25 thousand 934 pieces of e'taba, 120 kg 300 grams of ganja and 5 grams of heroin will be seized from the accused.
He said that 16 cases have been filed under the Narcotics Control Act of DMP in the name of the accused.
