The women's society in the country is ahead in the use of smartphones, despite the backbone in using technology. 52.1 percent of the total mobile users use smartphones.
60.6 percent of smartphone users are women, while the rate of male smartphone users is 50.8 percent, compared to men in the country. The rate of smartphone usage among women is 9.8 percent higher. According to the survey titled ‘Person and Procedure Use of ICT and Procedure’ published by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), mobile phones are kept in 4 crore 10 lakh 93 thousand 205 families, which is 97.4 percent.
Also, the use of male main Khana is higher in proportion to the food (family) that has mobile phones.
However, women are more likely to use smartphones than men, in this case, the highest 69.3 percent of smartphones in the country are used in Dhaka.
Then 36.5 percent of people in Barisal, 63 in Chittagong, Khulna 49, Momansinghe 39.5, Rajshahi 32, Rangpur 34.1 percent and Sylhet 56.1 percent people use smartphones.
