The body of a 36-day-old girl child was recovered from Dabur in Mohanpur, Rajshahi. The incident took place in Basantakedar-Bakpasa (median) village of No. 4 Maugachi Uniton area of the upazila on Saturday (May 27) around 5 pm. The deceased child Aesesha Akhtar was in the village of Alamin Hossain of that village.
When asked about this, Alamin Hossain said, "My wife Tanita Khatun and daughter Aishta Chaja were no one else. After this incident, I quickly left and came and saw that my daughter was dead."
The child's mother Tanita Akhtar said, she kept the child sleeping in her bedroom around 5:00 am and went to the bathroom to hear about the dog's work from the bathroom. After that, Suman's wife Rozina rushed to the house and saw that her daughter had died.
But Suman's wife Rozina, who witnessed the incident, said, "We are getting close to the house next door. I came to call Tanita to go to the house and saw the baby drinking water. Everyone rushes and rescues the child from there.
In this regard, Mohanpur police station's Mougachi Unit Bit Officer Debashis said, "We are quickly asking everyone around the spot after getting the news. Legal action will be taken after investigating the incident and taking legal action."
